Japanese entertainment company Cinderella Academy has formed the first cryptocurrency pop group called Kasotsuka Shojo. The group comprise of eight members, each of which represents a different cryptocurrency. The group is holding the first cryptopop concert today Friday in Tokyo.

The name translates to Virtual Currency Girls and like other music groups formed by the entertainment group, hopes to educate people about issues in the crypto world using songs.
Group leader Rara Naruse, who also represents Bitcoin Cash in the group. He said in a statement that they want to promote the idea that cryptocurrencies are not just a tool for speculation. But also a wonderful technology that will shape the future.
The eight member wear fuzzy masks that identify the differentcryptocurrenciesthey represent.
Virtual Currency Girls bandwebsiteannounced they will also receive payment in cryptocurrencies for the Friday concert. Their first song will be “The Moon and Virtual Currencies and Me” lectures on online security and watching out for fraudulent businesses in the crypto businesses. It is inspired by recent warnings with various regulators about cryptocurrencies.
